In Memory of Lonen Clayton Curtis III

A passion for wine and the Napa Valley drew founder Lonen Curtis III to the wine business in the mid-1990's. After retiring from the high tech industry, Lonen began the serious pursuit of winemaking. He planted his first vineyard and began developing the Jocelyn Lonen Winery Brand between 1996 and 1998. The Curtis family relocated to the Napa Valley in 1997 and Lonen created an impressive foundation for the winery before being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in late 2002. Over the next two years, Lonen and his daughter Brandi Jocelyn Pack worked together managing the winery until his passing in December, 2004. Sharing her father's passion for the business, Brandi is devoted to continuing the legacy in Lonen Curtis' memory. Although not involved in the business, Susan Curtis, widow of Lonen and mother of Brandi, is one of the brands' biggest, best and most loyal supporters. Together, Brandi and Susan have started the Lonen Curtis III Foundation to raise money for brain tumor research. The foundation will use all donated funds to support Musella projects.
